Some things never change

Five things I couldn't do as a child and still have yet to master as an adult:

Twirl a baton

Cartwheel

Roll my R's (¡Arriba!)

Snap my fingers on my left hand

Cross my eyes

What about you?

I thought of a few more for you:

1. Cook anything other than grilled cheese.

2. Determine the location of either Alaska or Canada without referring to a map.

3. Unlock the door.

4. Lock the door.

5. Pee without getting it on your leg.

I like you.

I can snap with my left hand, but not my right. I am right handed.

figure out where north is (it's wherever I'm facing. this is completely logical to me.)

I also cannot roll my R's and I'm a Spanish minor who lived in Spain/Italy for a year.... FAIL!

Ah! I still cannot do cartwheels! I always wanted to be able to. I can't role my R's either.

I'm also terrible at cooking, doing chores and being responsible in general....

Blow a gum bubble. I've tried to learn my whole life and fail miserably each time.

Hmm...I'll have to think about that! I've done all of those things...but I doubt I can do a cartwheel. I definitely can't do a flip ;) haha, I used to take baton twirling lessons when I was a kid...LOL.

I think I might be able to do all of those...perhaps not the baton. But that doesn't change the fact that I haven't evolved much since the age of five. :)

I can't snap my fingers on my left hand either. And on my right hand? I use my thumb and ring finger...

There's nothing I can't do.

I suck at cartwheels...I think a lot of it has to do with my fear of hurling myself to the ground in the hopes of popping back up on the other side!

Can I please tell you how much I adore your relationship with Andrew? Your personalities CRACK ME UP!

FUn fact... When I was 5 I finally "thought" I mastered twirling the baton and while I was twirling I accidently hit my brother in the mouth. He lost two teeth... I know I'm a great sister.

I have NEVER been able to burp on command. Actually, I rarely burp at all and I REALLY wish I did.

lol! Andrew is inappropriate and wonderful.

I can't cartwheel, whistle with my fingers in my mouth, or do the splitz.

I think they teach you how to do all these things in Brownies. I totally should have signed up.

I definitely can't do a cartwheel. Or the splits. And I was in gymnastics when I was 5 years old, too.

Left had finger snapping is kinda hard though. I can't do it either.

i can't cartwheel either....
- i always thought i was a little too "bottom-heavy" to invert my body like that
- i was too self-concious to practice in my backyard (neighbor-boys are mean!!) :)
- lastly, let's face it, i'm pretty accident-prone!

I can't roll my Rs either. It's very frustrating.
