It's always something

Our new house is (mostly) clean and of sound structure. So it always surprises me when I notice a creature in the tub as I'm about to step in to the shower. Sometimes it's a spider. Sometimes a centipede. *shudder* But today? It was a worm. Really. It was a worm. How did it get there is what I want to know? Spiders and centipedes are one thing, but worms in my tub are totally unacceptable. I am publicly asking the kind worm people to stay out of my house. Thank you. Also, stay out of my medicine and beverages while you are at it. Best Regards.

A worm? That is completely unacceptable. Unless he was also DOIN' The Worm. Then it would have been awesome. (But still gross.)

I think the plumber probably left it in there as a crazy prank. What a nut!

That's a pretty large feat for a worm. He had to brace his vertical body and shimmy all the way up your water pipe only to go all the way down the drain again.

I don't even have words.

YOU ARE A GOD. Don't know why, don't know how, don't even know what kind... but I am sure of this. =D

Mermanda Darling, Be glad it was just a worm and not the dead mouse recently discovered in the furnace of your childhood home. Critters can be creepy but we are so much bigger than them. Why do they torture the human psyche so? Maybe the furnace guy put it there- because he's the one that found it. Ahaaaaa!!! I think Andrew's on to something. Good thinking Andrew!!! Watch out for home repair guys n gals & their (dead or alive) critters they leave behind.

A WORM? For the love of all things holy. That is crazy.

One thing we seem to always get in our shower are daddy long leg spiders. (That is a stupid name for a spider, BY THE WAY.) There was a relatively small one in the shower the other day and I crushed it with my finger, all caveman style. I was totally proud.

I hate finding the millepedes. They freak me out. I immediately call the cats over to take care of them.
