Sarah Marie, I'm also scared of everything. This will be a beautiful friendship.
Clarity Sage, Tell me more. How many hours do I REALLY have before I die. Because I count on my fingers a few times a day figuring out how close I should cut it. I usually freak out at about 7.5 hours.
Rialeilani, I do that all the time! Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night like, "AH! Oh. Wait. No. I'm good."
i had a roommate that set her alarm clock for every 4 hours to wake her up to change her 'pon if she wore one over night. you are not alone, but hopefully less of a hypochondriac. :) i was afraid of getting the gout after several hip surgeries, so i avoided alcohol & oily foods til the bone healed!
My name is Amanda... but you can call me Mermanda if you want to. I nest in Pittsburgh with my merman Andrew and Luke, our rescued retired racing greyhound. I'm a full-time publicist and part-time freelance writer (hire me!) with a serious addiction to sushi, live music, ginger snaps, and blawgs, of course.
What else do you need to know? I'm a surprisingly excellent thumb wrestler and I make the best grilled cheese sandwiches around. Yep, that should cover it.

No. And I know that whole 8 hour thing isn't true. Trust me.
NO! And is this tmi? But this one time I was like "I think I took it out. Did I take it out? Yeah I took it out..wait..." seriously neurotic...

AB.SO.LUTE.LY NOT! I'm glad I don't have to deal with that fear for another few months... it's always freaked me out!
Another TMI comment... I had 2 in at once one time. Talk about freaking out! "How long has that been in there??!" Gross.
Me!! Meeee!!! MEEEE!!!
Then again, I am also very afraid of developing skin cancer.
I have considered switching to organic cotton tampons. Those have a lower risk of TSS, right?
Morgan, that is one "two-fer" that I'm not interested in having. Scary!
Rae, I don't know about the risks of organic vs. nonorganic, but it has to be better for your body if it isn't bleached.
