All by myself
Andrew started taking evening classes tonight--leaving me to fend for myself two nights a week. Yeah, I have to remember how to feed myself (living with a partner who cooks is something I recommend to everyone). But what else am I going to struggle with? Figuring out how to watch the new HD TV, sigh.

I don't live with a partner who cooks (though I really wish I did) but I do live with a partner who is an AV ninja. We have a ridiculously sweet home theatre system which took me years to figure out. Not that I've actually figured out how to do much more than turn it on & off, but still. I'm getting there. Soon I'll be able to change the channel ALL BY MYSELF!

This is absolutely awesome! You have a great guy. Josh wouldn't do that (cuz he wouldn't think of it), but I can totally relate to getting used to having a partner who cooks! Last time he left for more than 3 days I lived on oreos and chips/creamcheese (cream cheese is the GREATEST chip dip ever, probably because it's the most fattening). It was sad.

I get a lecture every time I ask (for the millionth time mind you) how to use the frickin' remotes. I STILL have no idea how to watch a DVD and I'm alone MOST nights.

Aw that is so sweet! My bf wants to buy me an $80 uberremote. It has a touch screen and everything. It literally asks you want you want to do, watch a movie, watch tv, etc.

Too funny - my husband had to me a manual the first time I was alone at his house... Seriously - why can't TV's have ONE remote?! Crazy confusing for this girl!
i'm going to add to the chorus of "awww!"-s. this is so cute. i'm pretty good with the tech stuff... but i would want my dream guy to be just as helpful. and the cooking? that's an added bonus. :)
